Clippers to play former team of pick Korolev
The 19-year-old forward will be facing his former team when the Clippers play Russian champion CSKA Moscow on Saturday in an exhibition game.
The Clippers, who drafted Korolev in the first round last year, will play two games in Moscow. The other is Friday against BC Khimki.
Korolev played for CSKA in the 2004-05 season, mostly on the junior team, before being drafted by the Clippers. He played 127 minutes last season, hitting 9 of 30 shots.
"He's worked hard. The main concern we have is building up his body," said Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy.
