Allen sprains ankle; injury not considered serious
Allen was playing defense on a fast break when he took a bad step and fell to the floor. He quickly got up and headed to the locker room for treatment, limping slightly. Coach Bob Hill didn't consider it significant and Allen should be available to play Friday night against Portland.
Guards Luke Ridnour and Kareem Rush, and forward Damien Wilkins were all limited in practice as well. Rush aggravated a groin strain during warmups for an open public scrimmage Tuesday night and Hill was unsure when Rush would play in an exhibition game.
Ridnour has a sore right thumb and Wilkins a sore right index finger.
The injuries have slightly delayed Hill's timing for making training camp cuts. Originally expected the middle of this week, Hill said Wednesday he doesn't anticipate any cuts being made until this weekend. The Sonics' roster stands at 18.
