Injured Nash, Diaw, Thomas sit vs. Sonics

SEATTLE -- Steve Nash, Boris Diaw and Kurt Thomas were all sidelined Wednesday night as the Phoenix Suns lost to the Seattle SuperSonics 114-90 in their last game before the All-Star break.

It was the Suns' worst loss of the season.

Nash was previously announced as being out with a right shoulder injury that will also keep him out of Sunday's All-Star Game in Las
Vegas. It was the fourth straight game Nash has missed and sixth overall this season. The Suns are 2-4 in games Nash has missed.

Diaw was bothered again by back spasms that kept the versatile forward out of the Suns' lineup in Sunday's home loss to Chicago.

Thomas has been out since Jan. 15 with a left elbow injury, but coach Mike D'Antoni expects Thomas to make his return next Tuesday when the Suns visit the Los Angeles Clippers.

As for Nash and Diaw: "I just don't know. I would think they would," D'Antoni said.
