Marion misses second game with bruised hand
PHOENIX -- Suns All-Star forward Shawn Marion missed his second straight game Friday night because of a bruised right hand.
Phoenix coach Mike D'Antoni said Marion's hand, injured Tuesday at Indiana, was too swollen and sore for him to play in Friday's rematch against the Pacers.
"He can't go tonight," D'Antoni said. "We'll see about Sunday."
The Suns host the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday afternoon.
Marion, who averages 18.4 points and a team-high 10.2 rebounds, missed a game for the first time this season on Wednesday night, when the Suns lost at Philadelphia. It was Phoenix's only loss in 15 road games against Eastern Conference foes.
The Suns also were without forward Boris Diaw for the eighth game. Diaw tried to come back Tuesday but was ineffective in 7 minutes. D'Antoni thought Diaw might be back for Wednesday's game against Charlotte.
