Williams faces arrest if he doesn't show up for court
INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana Pacers forward Shawne Williams missed a court hearing Friday and faces the threat of arrest if he misses another hearing Monday.
Williams faces a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license. Defense attorney John Tompkins said he told Williams he needed to attend Friday's hearing.
Williams was jailed on an initial charge of marijuana possession after a traffic stop this month, but prosecutors dropped that charge.
Pacers president Larry Bird said he expected Williams to be at Monday's court hearing.
