AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Houston Rockets lost Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming to injuries and then lost 94-82 to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.
McGrady left at halftime after aggravating his sore left knee, and Yao left after getting cut in the face. McGrady did not return, and Yao missed most of the half after getting four stitches.
McGrady left Houston's Dec. 19 loss to Orlando after injuring the knee, and missed a loss at Denver the next day. He played 30 minutes in Saturday's win over Chicago, scoring 20 points, and scored 14 in the first half against the Pistons.
McGrady is Houston's leading scorer, averaging 23.1 points a game, while Yao averages 21.7.
