INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers point guard Jamaal Tinsley missed Tuesday night's game against the Detroit Pistons because of a sore left knee.
Indiana was also without big man Jermaine O'Neal, who missed his sixth consecutive game with a bone bruise in his left knee.
The shorthanded Pacers fell 110-104 for their fourth straight loss.
Tinsley has missed three straight games and the Pacers have lost them all. Pacers coach Jim O'Brien said he expects Tinsley to play Friday against Houston.
Tinsley is averaging 12.5 points and 8.6 assists this season, but he has missed 11 games, mostly due to injury.
O'Neal is averaging 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in 33 games this season.
