Mavs' Thomas hurts knee at home
DALLAS -- Newly acquired Mavericks forward Tim Thomas needs arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Thomas got hurt while working out at his home in California. The procedure will be done Tuesday by the team's orthopedic surgeon. A timetable for his return will be set once they see how the procedure goes.
