Pacers' Granger returns
CHICAGO -- Indiana Pacers scoring leader Danny Granger returned Wednesday night against the Chicago Bulls after sitting out a game because of personal reasons, while forward Mike Dunleavy missed the game because of food poisoning.
Granger, averaging 22.9 points, did not play Monday night in a loss at Dallas -- the Pacers' fifth in six games -- after scoring a season-high 36 points in a victory at Houston. Granger missed a month earlier this season because of a heel injury.
He scored 20 points and hit four 3-pointers, but the Pacers fell short 120-110.
Dunleavy, meanwhile, came down with food poisoning Tuesday night. Coach Jim O'Brien hopes Dunleavy will be ready to play Thursday night against Milwaukee.
Joakim Noah, who has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left foot for over a month, returned to the Bulls lineup but played only seven minutes. He had five points and two rebounds.Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
