HOUSTON -- Houston's Kevin Martin missed the Rockets' game with the Los Angeles Clippers because of a sore left shoulder.

Martin, who is listed day to day, has averaged almost 22 points and 3.3 rebounds in the 17 games since he was traded to the Rockets.

The 6-foot-7 player was acquired from Sacramento in the three-team deal that sent Tracy McGrady to the Knicks on Feb. 18.

The eight points he scored on Wednesday night in a 122-104 loss to Oklahoma City were the fewest he'd scored since joining the team.
