AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Richard Hamilton and Tracy McGrady will both miss the Detroit Pistons' preseason game Friday against Milwaukee.
Hamilton returned home for the birth of his child, while Detroit coach John Kuester wants to limit McGrady's playing time early in the preseason as he recovers from injuries that cost him most of the last two seasons.
The Pistons are already missing Jonas Jerebko (Achilles') and Terrico White (foot), who were injured in the exhibition opener in Miami. Both had surgery on Friday, with Jerebko expected to be out five to six months. White will be in a cast for six weeks before beginning rehab.
