Kevin Durant inactive vs. Celtics
Durant twisted his left ankle Wednesday night in the Thunder's 116-99 win over the Houston Rockets. The team listed Durant as inactive Friday after he received ice treatment.
Durant had told ESPN's Lisa Salters earlier Friday that he would play despite the ankle.
"It feels better than I thought it would," Durant said after leaving the court following his pregame shooting drills. "It feels sore but I think I can play through it."
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2007 draft and the 2008 rookie of the year, Durant is leading the NBA with 28.0 points per game.
The Thunder scored a big upset by beating the Celtics 89-84 Friday night.
