ORLANDO -- The Orlando Magic secured their second consecutive victory in the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League, downing the split squad of the New Jersey Nets and Philadelphia 76ers, 108-86, in the nightcap Wednesday at the RDV Sportsplex in Orlando, Fla.

Unlike Tuesday's game for the Magic, which saw Ryan Anderson bear much of the scoring load for Orlando, Wednesday's matchup witnessed a much more balanced scoring attack, as five Magic players registered double figures. Anderson and Maurice Ager paced the team with 21 each, while Kasib Powell scored 19, Richard Hendrix pulled in 17 to go along with 12 rebounds and Brian Chase poured in 15 off the bench.

Both teams shot 50 percent from the field, but it was the areas of rebounding and points in the paint that provided the difference. The Magic outrebounded their opponents by 13, 36-23, scored 24 second chance points compared to the Nets/Sixers' five and also took a 34-20 advantage on interior scoring.

Orlando led for the duration of the contest, building as much as an 11-point lead in the first quarter before heading to the locker room up 14, 59-45. Powell led the way in the first 20 minutes of play, scoring 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting, including knocking down 3-of-4 from long range.

The Magic extended their halftime lead to as many as 24 midway through the third quarter, 75-51, but NJ/Philadelphia used a 14-4 run to cut the lead to 14 with less than two minutes to go in the period. But Orlando answered the call, as Powell and Ager hit back-to-back treys to end the quarter and once again give the Magic a comfortable cushion heading into the final stanza.

The Nets/Sixers, who were led in scoring by Dionte Christmas' 18 points, open play on Day 4 of the Orlando Pro Summer League with a contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder, while the Magic are set to take on the Utah Jazz in game No. 2 Thursday.
