Ramsay's 2008-09 MVP ballot

We asked NBA writers from ESPN.com and ESPN The Magazine, as well as NBA analysts from ESPN, to provide their choices for NBA Most Valuable Player, ranked from 1 to 5.
Here is Dr. Jack Ramsay's ballot:
James pretty much carried the Cavs to best record in the NBA with tremendous play at both ends of the court.
| Dwyane Wade
With consistent, dynamic play, Wade took last season's 15-win Heat team and brought them all the way back to the playoffs.
| Kobe Bryant
Bryant is a tad behind the top two of LeBron and D-Wade, but he had a superb season leading the Lakers to the top of the Western Conference.
Pierce was the steadiest and most clutch Celtic on a team that was without Kevin Garnett for a good chunk of the second half.
Paul kept the Hornets in the playoff hunt despite losing key teammates to injuries.
