ESPN Fantasy Projection (last updated: August 25, 2008)
2009 Season Outlook
What more can we say about the King? Just when we thought he couldn’t get any better, LeBron posted his best season yet with 30.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.5 3-pointers while shooting a solid 48.4 percent from the floor. If those aren’t the numbers of a top fantasy pick, we don’t know what are. He doesn’t just contribute in every category, he dominates them. The only blemish on his record is a subpar free-throw percentage (.712), but even that isn’t so bad given his contributions elsewhere. And here’s the scary thought: at just 23 years of age, LeBron could get even better.
