Player News (last updated: November 14, 2009)
News: Thomas had seven rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over Houston.
Spin: Thomas has been a forgotten man in Sacramento, barely getting work under the previous three coaching administrations, but may be finding new life under coach Paul Westphal. Thomas has played in five of the previous six games after being a DNP in the season's first three. "Why not?" Westphal responded, when asked if Thomas will continue receiving minutes, to the Sacramento Bee. "Kenny rebounds, he defends. Some nights we might not need him as much as other guys, but he'll play." Now that the Sean May infatuation has appeared to run its course, perhaps Thomas can get some important minutes as the first big off the bench.
