Ginobili opts for minimal protection
Ginobili said Sunday he'll instead go with more minimal protection in Game 4 against Dallas after an errant elbow from Dirk Nowitzki fractured his nose Friday night. He later returned to help put San Antonio up 2-1 in the series.
"Nothing really bad can happen besides hurting and breathing," said Ginobili. "You can break it a little more, but I'm going to have to fix it after the series or season or whatever. Now we don't have time."
Ginobili said he feels fine, other than occasional dizziness when he looks down.
Ginobili was averaging 21.3 points in the playoffs heading into Game 4 on Sunday night.
