PG was questionable for game
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Indiana Pacers guard Jamaal Tinsley left Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday night with multiple injuries to his left leg and did not return.
Tinsley was questionable leading up to the game with injuries to the hamstring, knee and ankle on his left leg, things that have bothered him all series. He started the game, but labored through the first 3:30 against the Detroit Pistons before being replaced by Anthony Johnson.
Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said before the game that he would be cautious with Tinsley so as not to risk further injury to his young point guard.
``If it's obvious that he's not able to play the way he needs to, I'll have to get him out of there,'' Carlisle said. ``His condition has gotten a lot worse and I'm not going to jeopardize his future.''
With Tinsley out, Kenny Anderson moved into Johnson's place as the backup point guard.
