In Game 2, the Celtics scored only 10 points in the fourth quarter in losing at home to the Pacers, 82-79. That total matched the second-fewest fourth-quarter points that the Celtics have ever had in a playoff game:

Paul Pierce is one of 42 players to appear in 30 or more postseason games for the Celtics. His total of 748 points is the highest in franchise history after 30 playoff games. Rounding out the top five: Bob Cousy, 688; Jo Jo White, 683; Larry Bird, 625; and Tom Heinsohn, 591.
Antoine Walker has scored 527 points in 26 postseason games for the Celtics. He would tie Heinsohn with 64 points in Boston's next four playoff games.

Has any coach done more than Rick Carlisle? With the assortment of suspensions, injuries, etc., you never knew who was playing. They still have tons of winning playoff experience with veterans who believe they can win. They will miss Tinsley out front.

This team has played extremely well since the trading deadline, when they brought back Antoine Walker. Now they have a nice blend of playoff experience, improved depth, explosive scorers along the perimeter and an understanding of how to play to their strengths.
