Stojakovic sits out Game 5 with knee soreness

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Peja Stojakovic sat out Game 5 of
Indiana's Eastern Conference playoff series against the New Jersey
Nets on Tuesday night with a sore right knee.

Stojakovic, the Pacers' second-leading scorer in the regular
season, also missed Games 2 and 4, both Pacers losses. He is
averaging 11 points in the playoffs, eight below his regular-season
average with the Pacers, but Indiana has won both games in which he
has played.

"He wants to play," Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said. "It's a
significant situation. It's day to day, but it's one of those
things that's tough to gauge. We're hoping he feels good enough for
Game 6, but we don't know. We'll have to see."

Guard Jamaal Tinsley also missed his third straight game with a
sore right Achilles' tendon.
