Fantasy tip
Marko Jaric
Marko Jaric is no Jason Kidd or Jason Williams, for that matter. But with Q gone, his numbers should improve.

Their woes come from two areas: assists (too few) and turnovers (too many).

Last year they gave it away 200 times more than their opponents and had 200 fewer dishes. If Mike Dunleavy can get the team to take care of the ball, then he can introduce the concept of sharing it.

Until then, Elton Brand and Corey Maggette will put up numbers, and the Clips will remain a fixture in the basement.

Roster analysis
The starters: Not bad up front with Maggette and Brand. Not good anywhere else.
Pos. Player Comment Grade*
PF Elton Brand 20 and 10 a night, and it just doesn't matter 8
SF Corey Maggette Exciting scorer needs to improve defense and turnovers 8
C Chris Kaman Still the second-best center in LA. You forgot about Vlade 5
SG Kerry Kittles A nice scorer. But his bad knees can flare up any minute 6
PG Marko Jaric Enjoy the final days of the Jaric Era 5
BENCH A collection of NBA vagabonds and never-beens with the exception of No. 4 pick Shaun Livingston, so don't expect much reinforcement from this crew. 5
