Fantasy tip
James Posey
Posey
James Posey gives you pockets full of points (13.7), steals (1.7), free throws (83 percent), threes (1.4) and boards (4.9).

The Grizz's 22-game turnaround led to their first playoff appearance. But they were only 28-28 against the West, and got swept out of the playoffs by the Spurs.

To add toughness Jerry West signed Brian Cardinal, who brings D and three-point shooting (think latter-day Bill Laimbeer). If his grit rubs off on Pau Gasol, Memphis will be in the hunt for more than just a first-round appearance next spring.

Roster analysis
The starters: They can run, shoot and defend. That'll keep you in most games.
