ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Two of the top points guards in the league square off when the Orlando Magic host the New Jersey Nets on Saturday.

Orlando's Steve Francis and New Jersey's Jason Kidd, who could be All-Star teammates in a little more than a month, hook up in the first of four meetings.

The Magic have won two straight after losing five of the previous six - their worst stretch of the season. Francis was a big part in the two victories - scoring 35 against Seattle on Monday before matching a season high with 13 assists in a 111-91 triumph over Charlotte on Friday.

Hedo Turkoglu scored 22 points against Charlotte and top draft pick Dwight Howard grabbed 12 rebounds while battling Emeka Okafor, the second overall choice in the draft.

Kidd just missed a triple-double in an 82-72 win over Golden State on Friday, collecting 13 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. He needs one more triple-double to pass Larry Bird for sole possesion of fourth on the all-time list with 60.

Vince Carter continues to make a big splash with his new team, scoring 22 points, while Richard Jefferson added 20 in the win.

New Jersey won all four meetings against Orlando last season and has taken nine of the last 11 contests.
