Red-hot Pistons go for ninth straight win vs. Bucks

Milwaukee (21-19) at Detroit (34-5) 7:30 pm EST

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- It only seems as if the Detroit Pistons have been on a winning streak the entire season.

The Pistons can extend their latest run to nine games Wednesday when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks in a Central Division clash.

Detroit, which also won nine straight from December 14-29, is coming off a thorough 107-83 triumph in Minnesota on Tuesday in coach Flip Saunders' first game against his former team.

Chauncey Billups scored 24 of his 27 points in the second half, connecting on 9-of-13 shots after intermission, while adding eight assists and seven rebounds.

Antonio McDyess contributed 16 points and Tayshaun Prince and Rasheed Wallace chipped in 15 apiece for the Pistons, who improved to 20-1 when scoring 100 points or more.

Conversely, the Bucks managed a season low for points in an 85-76 loss to the Pistons on November 26. Milwaukee has scored fewer than 100 points in 11 consecutive meetings with Detroit.

The Bucks are coming off Monday's 97-80 defeat against Houston despite 21 points from Michael Redd. Bobby Simmons added 16 points for Milwaukee, which shot just 37 percent (27-of-73) and was outrebounded by a 48-39 margin.
