CHICAGO (AP) -- Andres Nocioni scored 15 points and had seven rebounds, and fellow rookie Jared Reiner scored six of his 10 points in overtime to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 103-100 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Friday night.

Five Bulls rookies scored in double-digits. Ben Gordon and Luol Deng each scored 13 points, and Chris Duhon added 10.

Reiner scored Chicago's first six points in overtime and Eric Piatkowski was 4-for-4 from the foul line in the closing minute.

Tim Pickett missed a 3-point shot for New Orleans as time expired.

Baron Davis led New Orleans with 16 points.

Leading 71-70 early in the fourth quarter, the Bulls went on a 10-0 run. Gordon and Duhon hit back-to-back 3's, increasing the Chicago lead to 81-70 with 8:25 left in regulation.

The Hornets battled back in the final three minutes, outscoring the Bulls 10-2 to get within one. Britton Johnsen then missed a jumper with 2 seconds left, but Pickett got the offensive rebound and was fouled on his putback attempt. Pickett hit the first free throw to tie the score at 91-all, but missed the second, sending the game into overtime.

Junior Harrington and David West both scored 12 points for New Orleans.

The Hornets held the Bulls to 14 points in the second quarter and led 48-43 at halftime. Davis scored 10 points in the first half, all coming in the first quarter and Eddy Curry had 13 points for Chicago in the half. Curry only played one minute in the second half after he was benched for forgetting an inbounds play.

David Wesley and Rodney Rogers were both out for the Hornets with strained right hamstrings. Eddie Robinson didn't attend the game for Chicago and was out with a sore left toe. Robinson's absence was excused.
