SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Behind Mike Miller's 24 points, the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies beat the Utah Jazz 94-82 Friday night for their fifth victory in six games.

Miller shot 9-of-13 on a combination of long-range jumpers, including four 3-pointers, and quick drives to the basket. The Grizzlies, who also got 14 points from Brian Cardinal, shot 68 percent from the field in the second half and made 10 of 19 3-pointers.

Andrei Kirilenko had 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz, who shot 37 percent for the second straight game.

Though the Jazz have lost four in a row and eight of 11, they've had opportunities in the fourth quarters of those games. This time, the Grizzlies never let them get within striking distance.

After Kirilenko made a layup and a jumper to cut the deficit to 83-75, Wright answered with a layup and Miller added a 3-pointer. Memphis led by double figures the rest of the way.

The Grizzlies' streak has come despite playing without leading scorer Pau Gasol since Jan. 22, forward Stromile Swift since Feb. 16 and forward Bonzi Wells since March 1. Cardinal has averaged almost 17 points since injuries forced him into the starting lineup.

The Jazz have also been hit by injuries as leading scorer Carlos Boozer and starting center Jarron Collins have been out.

Matt Harpring had 13 points but none in the second half. Mehmet Okur scored 14 and Raja Bell had 13.

    Game notes

Ben Handlogten, who signed with the Jazz on Wednesday, scored two points and made his only shot. ... Late in the first quarter, Utah had as many turnovers (8) as points and trailed 17-8. The Grizzlies got a rare four-point play in the third quarter when Cardinal made a 3-pointer as Harpring fouled Battier in the lane. Battier made the free throw. Coach Jerry Sloan remains one victory shy of tying Hall of Famer Red Auerbach for sixth place in league history with 938.
