Kirilenko leads Jazz past cold-shooting Blazers

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Andre Kirilenko scored 19 points and Mehmet Okur had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz to a 92-73 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in a preseason game at the University of Oregon on Thursday night.

Rookie Deron Williams, the No. 3 overall pick in the NBA draft, came off the bench to score 12 points for the Jazz, while Kris Humphries added 10.

Rookie Martell Webster, the sixth overall pick, scored eight of his 11 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Trail Blazers. He was the only Blazer to reach double figures as the team continued its poor preseason shooting by hitting 29 percent from the field.

Okur scored six points in a 12-2 run to open the game. Utah added an 11-0 run in the second quarter that gave them a 41-22 lead and the Jazz were up 47-29 at halftime.

Kirilenko opened the second half with a layup and Okur scored the next four points on two free throws and a hook shot as Utah's lead grew to 56-29.

The Trail Blazers missed 10 of their first 12 shots in the game. They had 44 points after three quarters then outscored the Jazz 29-17 in the fourth.

Darius Miles, Theo Ratliff and Viktor Khryapa all had seven points for the Trail Blazers. Miles missed 15 of his 17 field goal attempts.

The Jazz outrebounded the Trail Blazers 49-32.
