Nash, Marion lead Suns past Kings in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Shawn Marion had 16 points and seven
rebounds, Steve Nash added 15 points and the Phoenix Suns beat the
Sacramento Kings 100-88 in preseason play Sunday night.

Nash scored 13 points in the first half for the Suns, who jumped
to a 70-50 lead in the third quarter with a 14-5 run after
halftime. Raja Bell also scored 15 points for Phoenix, which made
12 3-pointers.

Rookie Francisco Garcia scored 16 points for the Kings, who
mostly played their reserves and youngsters at Fresno's SaveMart
Center after beating Portland on the road Saturday night.

Sacramento trailed by 15 points early in the fourth quarter
before pulling within 93-86 on a basket by Kevin Martin, who had 15
points and nine rebounds while playing 42 minutes. But Martin and
Luis Flores both missed open shots that could have trimmed the
deficit further, and Bell essentially clinched it with his final
3-pointer with 1:35 left.

Suns guard Leandro Barbosa left the game in the second half with
a mild concussion.

The clubs meet again on Wednesday night in Albuquerque, N.M.
