Miles leads Blaazers past Raptors in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) -- Darius Miles scored 20 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 105-98 victory over the Toronto Raptors in a preseason game on Monday night.

Juan Dixon scored 16 points, and Zach Randolph 15 for the Trail Blazers, who won for the second time in six preseason games.

Jalen Rose scored 21 points to lead Toronto, which lost for the fourth time in six exhibition games. Charlie Villanueva added 19 points, and Joey Graham scored 16.

The game was the second for the NBA in Winnipeg. In 1995, the Raptors defeated the then-Vancouver Grizzlies at Winnipeg Arena in Toronto's inaugural preseason.

The Trail Blazers led 52-46 at the half and maintained a double-digit lead through most of the fourth quarter.

Rose made a 3-pointer with a minute left that cut the Raptors' deficit to seven points, but Toronto wasn't able to complete the comeback.

The game in the MTS Centre, home of the AHL's Manitoba Moose, drew 10,900.
