CHICAGO (AP) -- Shane Battier scored 20 points and Eddie Jones added 17 to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 95-88 preseason win over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.

Trailing 77-75 in the fourth quarter, Battier hit four straight 3-pointers in a 3-minute span for a 12-1 run. His fourth 3 gave Memphis an 87-78 lead with 4:17 remaining.

Jones shot 4-for-5 from 3-point range and scored all 17 of his points in the first half. Pau Gasol had 14 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for Memphis (5-2), which received double-figure scoring from all of its starters.

Darius Songaila scored 19 points for Chicago, and Michael Sweetney added 15 points in a reserve role.

The Grizzlies played without starting guard Mike Miller (sore right foot) and Bobby Jackson (pulled right hamstring).

Ben Gordon was held to just three points in 19 minutes for the Bulls (3-4).

Chicago's Tim Thomas, who was listed as questionable, missed his fourth straight preseason game for Chicago with a sprained left ankle.
