    Nowitzki's 25 and 10 leads Mavericks

    DALLAS (AP) -- Dirk Nowitzki had 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 94-86 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA exhibition game Tuesday night.

    Marquis Daniels added 20 points and Jason Terry had 16 for the Mavericks (5-2).

    Michael Redd scored 22 points for the Bucks (3-4), while Bobby Simmons and T.J. Ford each added 14 points.

    Mavericks center DeSagana Diop contributed 10 rebounds, four steals and four blocked shots before fouling out in the fourth quarter.

    The game was tied at 77 after three quarters, but Dallas opened the fourth quarter with a 13-1 run. Daniels capped the spurt with a short jumper with 2:50 left that gave the Mavericks a 90-78 lead.

    Milwaukee missed its first 16 shots of the fourth quarter.

    After trailing by as many as 12 points in the first quarter, the Mavericks went on a 19-3 second-quarter run and were in front 53-49 at halftime. The Bucks went without a field goal for 5:33 of the second quarter.

    Mavericks center Erick Dampier (sore right hip) and guard Jerry Stackhouse (sore right knee) missed the game.

    Milwaukee was without center Dan Gadzuric (bruised left knee), forward Josh Davis (right ankle pain) and forward Jiri Welsch (bruised left leg).
