The usual suspects: Wade, Shaq lead Heat past Magic

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Dwyane Wade scored 25 points and Shaquille
O'Neal added 19 points in 21 minutes and the Miami Heat concluded
their exhibition schedule with a 104-90 win over Orlando on
Thursday night.

Wade also had seven assists and four rebounds for Miami, which
finished the preseason 4-4. Antoine Walker contributed 17 points,
including three 3-pointers, for the Heat.

Steve Francis had 22 points and eight assists for Orlando, which
finished the exhibition season 4-3. Hedo Turkoglu added 14 points
and eight rebounds.

The Magic announced before the game that All-Star forward Grant
Hill would have surgery for a sports hernia. He is expected to miss
at least three weeks.

Miami held Orlando to 25.6 percent shooting in the first half
and led by as many as 20 points before settling for a 55-38
halftime advantage.

Orlando hit five of its first six shots in the third quarter to
cut the deficit to 63-50, but never got closer. O'Neal started a
12-4 run with a jump hook and finished it with a thundering dunk
that made it 75-54.

Alonzo Mourning took over for O'Neal in the fourth quarter and
finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks.

DeShawn Stevenson and Dwight Howard had 10 points apiece for the
Magic, who shot 37.5 percent for the game.
