Rookie Williams' double-double lifts Hawks past Hornets

COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) -- Zaza Pachulia scored 18 points and the Atlanta Hawks snapped a three-game losing streak with a 104-90 victory over the New Orleans Hornets in the teams' final preseason game Friday night.

Josh Childress added 15 points and rookie Marvin Williams had a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds for Atlanta. The Hawks played without leading scorer Al Harrington, who was out with an illness.

P.J. Brown led the Hornets with 15 points. Speedy Claxton and J.R. Smith each had 13.

New Orleans cut a 15-point, second-period deficit to six by the half and trailed 50-44. The score was tied at 74 after three quarters before the Hornets managed just two field goals in the fourth period.
