MINNEAPOLIS -- Ike Diogu and the Sacramento Kings found a way to put a positive ending on a long and frustrating season.
Diogu had 28 points and 13 rebounds to help the Sacramento Kings finish a sorry season with a victory, 97-90 over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night in a season finale featuring two teams that started thinking about next season a long time ago.Fast Facts
• The Kings ended the season with a win but can't avoid finishing with the NBA's worst record (17-65). It was Sacramento's fourth win in its last 34 road games.
• Two days after scoring a career-high 32 vs. the Nuggets, Ike Diogu finished with 28 points and 13 rebounds. Diogu has totaled 25-plus points and 10-plus rebounds in two straight games after never previously doing it.
• Minnesota lost two straight games to end the season after winning three of five.
