Steph Curry is the second Warriors player to ever be named MVP and the first since Wilt Chamberlain in 1960 when the team played in Philadelphia. The last Warrior to even crack the Top 4 in voting was Rick Barry in 1976.

Curry wins MVP with 23.8 PPG

Magic Johnson just edged him for the best scoring average by a point guard on a 65-win team. He led the '86-87 Lakers with 23.9 PPG. Magic went on to win the MVP and Finals MVP that season.
