Charles Barkley just said his driver in ATL was mad last week because driver was chauffeuring Cavs coaches who only talked about Golden St !

Hawks have steep hill to climb

Atlanta is trying to become the 4th team in NBA history to come back to win a best-of-7 series after losing the first two games at home, but no team has ever done it in a conference finals. Game 3 tips at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Steve Kerr @SteveKerr

So proud of my son @NickZKerr, who graduated from USD today. Wish I could have been there. Of all my sons, you are definitely in the top 2!

LeBron: sports can help Cleveland

"I think sports is one of the biggest healers in helping a city out. Sports just does something to people ... it can get your mind off of some of the hardships that might be going on throughout your life."

Dave McMenamin @mcten

Blood drawn in Cleveland already

Timofey Mozgov always goes hard. Unfortunately for his nose, that passion led to a bloodied schnoz as Mozgov tried to defend a Tristan Thompson dunk during pregame warmups. No word on whether Mozgov drew a flagrant on his teammate.

Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine

1995-96 Bulls: 84-11; 1996-97 Bulls' 80-15; 1985-86 Celtics: 79-16; 1971-72 Lakers: 79-16; 1966-67 76ers: 79-16 ... and these 78-17 Warriors

Competitive series are best served cold

If you want drama, the NHL conference finals are where it's at. In the NBA, on the other hand, the Vegas underdog has yet to win a single game, and only one game has come down to the final possession so far.

Howard: 'I saw quit' from Rockets

Dwight Howard on Houston's embarrassing Game 3 loss: "I saw quit from everybody in the arena. We can't have that. ... If there's any doubt or any disbelief in your spirit, then you might as well say we're finished."

An unnerving stat for Irving

The Cavs will be hard-pressed to win a title without a healthy Kyrie Irving, but they've done well without their star PG to this point. Really well, in fact.

Carroll is a realist on knee injury

At morning practice, Hawks wing DeMarre Carroll didn't say much about his injury and instead jokingly adhered to the facts: "I have a knee." We're not doctors, but that seems accurate. (via Britt McHenry)

Steph Curry: Not done yet

"We're looking for five more wins, so we won't stop till we get 'em."
