Lakers, Heat in hunt for Aldridge

The Lakers got a second meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge today, and the Heat are in the hunt as well. Aldridge will have a meeting tonight with Pat Riley, sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein. The Knicks' meeting with Aldridge has been put off.

Phoenix making moves for Aldridge?

The Suns agreed to send 3 players to the Pistons in exchange for a 2nd-round pick, according to multiple media reports. It's a lopsided move, but it clears $8.4M in cap space for the Suns, who are reportedly in the LaMarcus Aldridge sweepstakes.

Ellis agreed to a 4-year/$44M deal with the Pacers, per ESPN's Marc Stein and Chris Broussard. He averaged 18.9 PPG for the Mavericks last year, becoming the first player other than Dirk Nowitzki to lead Dallas in scoring since 1999-00.
