Sorry, point guards who can't shoot and Chicago's frontcourt, but the 2015 playoffs haven't been kind to you. Instead, it's Dwight Howard's time to shine. Grantland: Winners and losers

Can Spurs take charge of series?

Since the playoffs expanded to 16 teams in 1983-84, only four defending champions have lost in the first round, the last being the 2011-12 Mavericks. The Spurs are tied 2-2 with the Clippers. Game 5 is tonight.

Deron Williams shows up for Nets

And it couldn't have come at a better time, as he exploded for almost double the amount of points he scored in Games 1, 2 and 3. The Nets have evened things up as they head back to Atlanta for Game 5.

NBA top plays of the night

Of the top three plays, Nets PG Deron Williams had two of them when the Nets evened up the series with the Hawks. But Portland PG Damian Lillard's spin to the hoop for an easy 2 wins top play honors from Monday.

Nets-Hawks tied 2-2: Who wins?

This is the 7th time that a 1 vs. 8 matchup has been tied 2-2 in a best-of-7 series. In each of the previous six instances, the 1-seed went on to win the series. ESPN's BPI gives the Hawks a 77 percent chance of winning the series.

Can Bucks make history against Bulls?

The Bucks are the 13th team in history to force a Game 6 after trailing 3-0. Of the 12 teams to do it previously, three went on to force Game 7 -- but no team has ever won a series after trailing 3-0.

Bulls couldn't close out series ... again

After taking a 3-0 series lead, the Bulls have dropped the last two games to the Bucks. Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler combined to hit only 4 of 24 shots in the paint Monday after hitting nearly 70 percent of those shots in Games 1-4.

Lillard leaves Grizzlies dizzy in his dust

It's safe to say the Grizzlies missed PG Mike Conley. Portland's Damian Lillard blew by Conley's replacement, Beno Udrih, with a spin move and made a reverse layup late in the second quarter of the Blazers' Game 4 win.

Lillard makes most of Conley's absence

Damian Lillard scored a game-high 32 in the Blazers' 99-92 win over the Grizzlies. The victory was Portland's first of the year against Memphis in 8 tries and sends the series back to Memphis for Game 5.
