Notes: Named the NCAA Division II national player of the year and first team All-American after taking Shaw University to the 2002 NCAA Division II Final Four. As a senior, Murray was the fourth-leading scorer in Division II (23.5 ppg) and also led Shaw in assists (6.2 apg).

As a senior, led Shaw in scoring and assists (6.2 apg, 9th in Division II) and was third on team in rebounding with 6.3 rpg. Led Shaw to first-ever CIAA title and the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Region title. Led Shaw, which averaged 86.5 points, in scoring in 16 of 33 games. Had eight games of 30 or more points, with Shaw winning all eight games. Scorched St. Pauls College (VA) for season-high 38 points in an 87-76 win. Scored 34 points in 100-80 win over North Carolina Central in second game of the season. Grabbed career-high 13 rebounds vs. Bowie State to go along with 24 points and seven assists. In the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament, erupted for 36 points in a 69-68 victory over Carson-Newman (TN). In semifinals of CIAA Tournament, tossed in 28 points in 80-65 win over Winston-Salem State. In his final collegiate game in the Division II national semifinal loss to Kentucky Wesleyan, tallied 23 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.

As a junior, led the CIAA in scoring with 22.2 ppg. Scored in double figures in 21 of 23 games. Scored a career-high 39 points vs. St. Augustine in the quarterfinal round of the CIAA Tournament. Named to CIAA First Team and to the Daktronics All-South Atlantic Region team. Sat out 1999-2000 season at Philadelphia Community College.
