Davis chooses LSU over NBA draft

LSU signee Glen Davis has decided not apply for early entry into the 2004 NBA draft. Davis, a Parade All-American and Louisiana Mr. Basketball as a center at Baton Rouge-University, La., averaged 26.3 points and 14.3 rebounds as a senior. The consensus was that Davis would have been picked in the mid-to-late second round of the draft.
