Rutgers-Camden wins D-III Softball World Series

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Michelle Schlichtig struck out eight and allowed four hits and two walks as Rutgers-Camden beat St. Thomas 3-2 Monday to win the Division III Softball College World Series.

The loss was the second for the Tommies to Rutgers-Camden in two days. The third-ranked Raptors, making their first trip to the nationals, topped the Minnesota team 5-4 on Sunday.
