Trinity player withdraws from nationals
Trinity College's Baset Chaudhry, the top-ranked squash player whose outburst Sunday toward his Yale opponent drew widespread reproach, has withdrawn from the national singles championships.
In a statement, the school's president said he was proud of Chaudhry, the defending national champion in singles, for "making this difficult decision" to pull out of the event, set for March 5-7 on the school's Hartford, Conn., campus.
