CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Brandon Camardese scattered six hits in 8 2/3 innings to lead Miami to a 6-3 win over St. Bonaventure.

Camardese (6-2) had little problem with the Bonnies, who were making their first NCAA regional appearance. The junior left-hander allowed three earned runs while striking out a season-high seven batters.

Camardese was replaced by Alex Blanco after allowing a pair of runs in the ninth. Blanco retired the only batter he faced for his first save of the season.

Miami (45-11) will play North Carolina State (36-22) on Saturday.

Jim Burt drove in two runs and Erick San Pedro homered to make it 6-1 in the eighth.

NC State 6, Florida Atlantic 5
Dustin Knight's two-out RBI single capped a three-run ninth and gave North Carolina State a win over Florida Atlantic.

Trailing 5-2 entering the eighth, second seeded N.C. State cut the lead to two with Mike Jensen's sacrifice fly.

Florida Atlantic (45-16) will play St. Bonaventure (29-21).

The Wolfpack led off the ninth with a single and a double off reliever Allen Knight (4-2) before Matt Camp cut it to 5-4 with a sacrifice bunt. After a strikeout and a walk put runners at the corners with two outs, Jensen tied it with his third RBI of the game.

Adam McLaurin (3-3) pitched three innings of five-walk, one-hit relief, allowing just one run.

The game was delayed nearly two hours in the seventh.

Jeff Fiorentino hit a two-run homer in the second to give the Owls a 4-1 lead.
