Take a quick look back at last week's games and a first glance at the upcoming games for the Top 25:

1. Cal State Fullerton
Last week: 3-1. Overall: 40-13, 15-3 in Big West. (9-6 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Fullerton clinched a tie for the Big West title in avenging its only series loss of the year. Sr. LHP Scott Sarver allowed four hits over seven shutout innings Sunday in the finale, and Jr. LF Danny Dorn drove in four runs. A crowd of 3,554 (third-largest in Godwin Field history) watched Jr. LHP Ricky Romero beat Cesar Ramos on Friday. Jr. 2B Justin Turner has 11 hits in his last 17 at-bats.

2. Tulane
Last week: 2-1. Overall: 47-9, 24-6 in C-USA. (9-2 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Tulane won the C-USA title outright while setting a school record for conference wins and tying a school mark for regular season wins. Jrs. Brian Bogusevic (10 K's) and Micah Owings (9 K's) each earned wins on the mound and finished the year with 108 strikeouts. TCU Jr. RHP Lance Broadway struck out 10 in a complete-game four-hitter in Friday's nightcap, the second time Tulane was shut out this year.

3. Oregon State
Last week: 2-1. Overall: 41-9, 19-5 in Pac-10. (8-6 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Oregon State finished its Pac-10 slate in first place, but needs one more Arizona loss to win the title outright. It set school records for wins and home wins (21). Soph. RHP Dallas Buck took a one-hit shutout into the ninth inning Friday, finishing with two hits, three walks and three runs allowed in 8.2 innings. Jr. 2B Ryan Gipson collected three hits, two RBI and two runs in Saturday's win in which OSU rallied from a 4-0 deficit. A record 2,431 came to Sunday's finale, and the 6,918 set a three-game series record.

4. Nebraska
Last week: 5-0. Overall: 46-12, 19-8 in Big 12. (7-4 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Nebraska shared the Big 12 title with Baylor, but earned the tiebreak with a season series win. It marks the third Big 12 title for the Huskers, most in league history (dating to 1997). Nebraska's five-game win streak marks its longest since March. Its 2.48 ERA is the lowest season mark in school history. Jr. LHP Zach Kroenke threw a complete-game three-hitter Sunday. RHP Johnny Dorn tied Jamie Rodrigue's freshman mark of nine wins.

5. Texas
Last week: 2-1. Overall: 43-12, 16-10 in Big 12. (13-6 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Texas won five of its last six games to finish third in the conference. Sr. 3B David Maroul hit three home runs and drove in eight runs in the series. Fr. RHP Kenn Kasparek made his first conference start of the year Sunday, allowing a run on two hits in a seven-inning complete game. Sr. SS Seth Johnston's fourth-inning homer Saturday proved the game-winner, and he finished league play with a .433 average.

6. Arizona
Last week: 3-1. Overall: 36-17, 16-5 in Pac-10. (9-7 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Arizona must sweep California this weekend to pull even with Oregon State atop the league; it owns the tiebreak after defeating OSU in the season series. Jr. LF Trevor Crowe kept on hitting, registering three knocks Sunday to become the sixth player in school history to top 100 hits in a season. One of those was his school-record 13th triple of the year, which extended his school record for extra-base hits in a season to 46. Jr. Brad Boyer tallied three hits and four RBI Sunday. All nine Arizona batters collected at least one hit on Friday and Sunday.

7. Georgia Tech
Last week: 1-2. Overall: 38-16, 22-8 in ACC. (7-3 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Tech lost the series but won its second straight regular season title thanks to Clemson's bashing Miami. Soph. LHP Ryan Turner threw seven shutout innings Saturday, allowing four hits. Jr. RF Jeff Kindel provided the offense with his second three-run homer of the series.

8. Tennessee
Last week: 3-1. Overall: 39-17, 18-11 in SEC. (13-7 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Tennessee finished second to Florida in the Eastern Division and overall standings. Jr. RF Eli Iorg tallied seven hits (including a grand slam) and eight RBI in the series to finish the season with the team lead in batting (.391), hits (90), home runs (15) and RBI (68). Saturday's crowd (2,737) was Tennessee's largest draw of the year, and it saw Soph. RHP Craig Cobb strike out a career-best eight batters in a complete game. Jr. RHP Luke Hochevar held Georgia to three hits over seven innings Friday to win his ninth SEC game of the year.

9. LSU
Last week: 3-1. Overall: 38-18, 18-12 in SEC. (13-8 vs. Top 25).
Notes: LSU won 13 of its last 17 SEC games to go from last place to first place in the Western Division. Sr. SS Derek Hebert, recently re-inserted into the everyday lineup, twice provided the game-winning hits against MSU. His sixth-inning homer did the job Sunday, two days after his two-out, two-run single highlighted a three-run eighth inning. Jr. LHP Jason Determann earned a win Friday and a save Sunday.

10. Florida
Last week: 4-0. Overall: 38-18, 20-10 in SEC. (9-9 vs. Top 25).
Notes: A weekend sweep netted Florida the SEC title. Soph. 1B Matt LaPorta homered Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to tie the Florida season record of 23 home runs, and each shot provided the Gators with the game-winning runs. He added two hits Sunday. Jr. RHP Darren O'Day threw five scoreless innings of relief Saturday before LaPorta's 13th-inning jack made him a winner.

11. Long Beach State
Last week: 1-2. Overall: 36-19, 14-7 in Big West. (7-5 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Jr. 3B Evan Longoria drove in three runs Saturday, and Jr. RHP Marco Estrada allowed six hits and a run over six innings. The offense and pitching weren't as strong in the bookend games as Jr. LHP Cesar Ramos allowed five runs in the first two innings Friday before Soph. RHP Jared Hughes was tagged for six runs in 5.2 innings Sunday. The Dirtbags combined for 11 hits in the two losses, 10 in the win.

12. Miami
Last week: 0-3. Overall: 38-15-1, 19-10-1 in ACC. (6-5-1 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Down 4-1 entering the ninth inning Sunday, Miami loaded the bases but scored just twice and couldn't finish the sweep in a tight series. The Hurricanes sit 1.5 games behind Georgia Tech in the ACC race. Soph. 1B Danny Valencia homered for the only run Saturday as Sr. RHP Dan Touchet threw six scoreless innings while starting in place of Brandon Camardese, who missed the game with an illness. Jr. RHP Cesar Carrillo (7.1 IP, 7 H, 6 ER, 8 K) was shaky Friday, but earned his 12th win anyway.

13. Baylor
Last week: 2-2. Overall: 36-20, 19-8 in Big 12. (12-6 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Baylor drops its final series and falls into a tie atop the league with Nebraska. The Huskers own the tiebreak advantage. Jr. RHP Mark McCormick registered a career-high 12 strikeouts Friday over seven innings, allowing an unearned run on two hits. Sr. 2B Michael Girffin set the school's career games played mark (245). 1B Kyle Reynolds jammed his thumb receiving a throw Saturday and didn't play again in the series.

14. Mississippi
Last week: 3-0. Overall: 40-16, 18-12 in SEC. (4-4 vs. Top 25).
Notes: The sweep netted Mississippi a share of its first SEC West title since 1982 and its first series win at Arkansas since 1994. Fr. SS Zack Cozart homered twice and drove in four runs Sunday while Jr. LHP Eric Fowler threw seven shutout innings to finish off the Razorbacks. Jr. 1B/LHP Stephen Head collected three hits and a four-inning save Friday before homering in each of the final two games.

15. Rice
Last week: 2-2. Overall: 38-17, 18-9 in WAC. (7-5 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Rice holds a two-game lead over Fresno State with three games remaining. Soph. SS Josh Rodriguez collected eight hits, two homers, five runs and five RBI on the week. Fr. 1B Joe Savery extended his hit streak to 24 games and is batting .400 during the stretch.

16. Alabama
Last week: 2-1. Overall: 37-19, 17-13 in SEC. (8-7 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Alabama earned its first series win at Auburn since 1997 to finish third in the SEC West. Fr. SS Cale Iorg drove in four runs and Jr. C Kody Valverde delivered three hits in the series finale. RHP David Robertson set a freshman record with 99 strikeouts, pushing past Wade LeBlanc's 98 from last year.

17. Missouri
Last week: 3-2. Overall: 37-19, 16-11 in Big 12. (8-7 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Missouri scored six times in the eighth inning Sunday to win its second series at Baylor in three years. It is the only Big 12 team to win a three-game series in Waco in that time span. Its 16 league wins are the most since 1998. Soph. LHP Nathan Culp (6 IP, 5 H, R) was strong Saturday as Hunter Mense homered and drove in two runs. Soph. Max Scherzer allowed season-highs of five runs, four earned runs and eight hits Friday.

Notes: The Wolfpack finished the year with seven straight conference series wins to earn sixth place in the ACC. Soph. 1B Aaron Bates hit a three-run walk-off home run in the second game before Sr. 3B Matt Devine and Fr. 2B Ramon Corona both homered in game three, one in which Sam Walls, Phillip Davidson and Joey Devine held FSU to five hits.

19. Florida State
Last week: 2-2. Overall: 48-16, 19-11 in ACC. (7-8 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Florida State could have moved into second or third place with a series sweep or win; it instead settles for fourth place in the ACC. Soph. RHP Bryan Henry allowed a run over 6.2 innings Thursday to win his sixth straight and the 12th in a row overall for FSU, which received a season-best four homers in the game. The magic ended there. Closer Tyler Chambliss allowed a three-run walk-off homer to Aaron Bates in game two, and the Seminoles managed just five hits in the finale.

20. Clemson
Last week: 4-0. Overall: 37-19, 21-9 in ACC. (12-7 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Clemson sweeps away Miami to vault into second place in the conference. The 21 ACC wins set a school record. The Tigers hung an 11 spot on Cesar Carrillo on Thursday, sending him to the first loss of his career. Jr. DH Kris Harvey tallied three home runs and six RBI in the first two games of the series. Fr. 2B Taylor Harbin set a freshman record with 28 doubles after collecting five on the weekend and three in the Saturday finale, when Jr. RHP Josh Cribb struck out nine batters over seven innings.

21. Coastal Carolina
Last week: 2-1. Overall: 44-12, 21-3 in Big South. (3-0 vs. Top 25).
Notes: Coastal won the final two games of the series to take its ninth conference title and first since 2002. Jr. 1B/RHP Mike Costanzo hit two home runs in the series and earned a save Saturday, bringing his season total in both categories to 13. Fr. OF Tommy Baldridge hit his first career homer and drove in three runs.

22. North Carolina
Last week: 3-1. Overall: 40-15-1, 17-10-1 in ACC. (3-6-1 vs. Top 25).
Notes: North Carolina won its first series against a ranked opponent, taking a series from Tech for the first time since 2001 to finish fifth in the ACC. Soph. RHP Robert Woodard earned the Thursday start and improved to 7-0 (6.2 IP, 8 H, R). Fr. 1B/3B Chad Flack has five home runs in his last 10 games, and his 14 on the year lead the team and set a freshman record. Fr. 1B Matt Spencer bunted his way on then stole home to win the middle game of a series plagued by rain.

23. St. John's
Last week: 4-0. Overall: 39-14, 19-4 in Big East. (0-0 vs. Top 25).
Notes: St. John's won the Big East by posting a 2.54 ERA and 10 shutouts on the year. It has won 30 of its last 35 games, posting a school-record 39 regular season wins. Sr. SS P.J. Antoniato went 6-for-11 in the series, scoring four runs to tie the school's season record of 61. Soph. Anthony Sullivan allowed two hits over six shutout innings while recording nine strikeouts. The 453 team strikeouts on the year set a school record.

24. USC

Notes: Soph. RHP Ian Kennedy allowed five runs in 7.1 innings Friday, taking his first loss since March 3. Fr. RHP Anthony Encinas threw 5.1 innings of no-hit relief Sunday as Jr. 3B Billy Hart and Jr. OF/1B Darin Viera each collected four RBI.

Notes: Arizona State narrowly avoided its first conference sweep since 1999 thanks to five scoreless innings from Soph. RHP Pat Bresnehan and a two-run single from So. 2B Seth Dhaenens. It still has lost seven of its last nine games. ASU led 3-0 in the ninth Saturday before UW's Nick Batkoski hit a three-run homer and Brent Lillibridge followed with a two-run jack.

Dropped out
18. Louisiana-Lafayette
Last week: 1-3. Overall: 45-15, 16-8 in Sun Belt. (0-0 vs. Top 25).
Notes: ULL entered the week with little to play for and it showed, as it struggled but still won the Sun Belt by one game. The series loss to prevented ULL from winning all of its conference series, and helped WKU pull out of last place. LHP Austin Faught allowed a run on six hits over seven innings to earn his team-best 11th win of the year. Dallas Morris and Jonathan Lucroy each went 3-for-5 with two RBI in the win.
