Missouri upsets top-seeded Pepperdine

MALIBU, Calif. -- Brock Bond went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI as No. 4 seed Missouri defeated top-seeded Pepperdine 8-3 Monday in the NCAA baseball Malibu Regional.

Derek Chambers went 2-for-4 and scored twice with an RBI for the Tigers (35-26).

Taylor Parker (4-4) gave up two runs on five hits in 5 2-3 innings for the victory.

Barry Enright (13-2) allowed three runs on six hits in 3 1-3 innings.

Pepperdine's Justin Tellam, who went 2-for-3, homered in the seventh for the Waves (42-21).

Missouri advanced to play Cal State Fullerton in the Super Regional.
