Junior LHP David Price (7 IP, 12 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 8 K) was mortal in a 136-pitch outing Friday, but junior OF Dominic de la Osa picked him up with a three-run double off Bulldogs closer Joshua Fields in the ninth. The Commodores mustered just five hits Saturday as freshman LHP Mike Minor (6 IP, 8 H, 7 R, 6 ER) suffered his first career loss. Junior 2B Alex Feinberg (5-for-5, HR, 6 RBI) led Vanderbilt's 23-hit onslaught Sunday, and junior RHP Ty Davis picked up the win with 6.2 scoreless, hitless innings of relief of junior RHP Cody Crowell (2.1 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 3 ER).

With Dennis Guinn out for the year, senior DH Travis Anderson stepped up Friday, delivering two homers and four RBIs in support of senior RHP Bryan Henry (6 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 6 K), who improved to 12-0. Anderson then hit two doubles Saturday, but junior SS Mark Hallberg (5-for-7, 2 2B, 4 R, 2 RBI) led the offense in a lopsided FSU win. Sunday's matchup featured a pair of shut-down closers-turned starters, as FSU junior RHP Danny Rosen (7.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 12 K) bested Maryland junior LHP Brett Cecil (7.1 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K). Senior RHP Luke Tucker worked a perfect ninth to pick up his first save of the year.

Sophomore LHP Brian Matusz (8 IP, 7 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K) out-dueled USF ace LHP Aaron Poreda (8.1 IP, 10 H, 2 ER) on Friday, as senior C Jordan Abruzzo singled home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth. After the Dons put up a nine-spot in the fourth inning Saturday against sophomore LHP/OF Josh Romanski, San Diego responded with nine of its own in the bottom of the frame, capped by Romanski's three-run homer. USD then scored 10 more unanswered. Romanski went 3-for-5 with three RBIs to lead a 14-hit attack Sunday in support of junior RHP Matt Couch (7 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K).

Notes: Texas lost its first Big 12 series of the year and its first weekend series in its last 12, since dropping two of three at Long Beach State on Feb. 9-11. Sophomore OF Kyle Russell belted two homers Friday -- his nation-leading 25th and 26th -- but the Longhorns couldn't hold leads of 3-0 and 4-2, as Missouri scored the winning run in the 11th on a throwing error by sophomore C Preston Clark. Clark did deliver three hits Friday and three more Saturday in support of junior RHP Adrian Alaniz (8.1 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K), who improved to 12-2. Russell left Sunday's game with a jammed wrist suffered while diving for Jacob Priday's leadoff triple in the sixth, and the Tigers went on to score three runs in the frame against senior LHP Joseph Krebs. The Longhorns, who have one Big 12 series remaining, still lead the conference by 2.5 games over the Tigers, who still must face Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

Junior RHP Jess Todd (8.2 IP, 7 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 10 K) moved up to the Saturday starter spot and was brilliant in picking up his seventh win of the year. LSU scored two runs in the seventh Sunday to beat junior RHP Duke Welker (7 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 K).

The Shockers broke a 2-2 tie Saturday on junior OF Matt Brown's two-run double, which came after senior 1B Danny Jackson struck out swinging but reached first base on a passed ball to prolong the inning. Brown and junior 2B Damon Sublett each went 3-for-4 on Sunday as Wichita State took the lead for good with a three-run seventh. Senior LHP Noah Booth picked up his fourth save in that one with three shutout innings of work.

Stouffer scored the game-winning run Thursday on sophomore DH Luke Anders' 12th-inning double, capping a big day for Stouffer (5-for-5, 2 2B, 4 RBI). Stouffer had three more hits Friday in support of freshman RHP Scott Migl (7 IP, 6 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K), who made a 3-0 first-inning lead stand up. Stouffer drew three walks and was hit by a pitch Saturday, but the one time he got something to hit he delivered a two-run homer, his eighth of the year, as the Aggies cruised.

Junior RHP Harris Honeycutt (4 IP, 6 H, 6 ER) continued to struggle after moving to Friday starter to Saturday, losing his fourth straight start. Jones homered again Sunday -- his 15th of the year -- in support of freshman RHP Blake Cooper (5.2 IP, 5 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 K).

Steele (4-for-5) and Diallo Fon (3-for-5, 4 R, 4 RBI). Steele outdid himself Saturday, going 5-for-6 with two homers and five RBIs to lead Arizona's 21-hit onslaught. Freshman DH Oliver Padre singled home the winning run in the 10th inning Sunday.

Notes: OSU's hopes of winning its third straight Pac-10 title took a major hit, as the Beavers dropped their second conference series of the season. Friday's game at Safeco Park drew 10,421 fans, the largest crowd ever for a Pac-10 game, but junior RHP Mike Stutes (5.1 IP, 7 H, 5 ER) fell to 9-2. Sophomore IF/OF Jason Ogata, who went 6-for-11 with six RBIs in the series, hit the first inside-the-park home run in the nine-year history of Husky Ballpark in a losing effort on Saturday. Freshman RHP Jorge Reyes (7 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 7 K) set a career high in innings and strikeouts as the Beavers salvaged Sunday's finale.

Junior 1B Nate Recknagel forced extra innings with a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh in Saturday's first game, but the Illini answered with three in the top of the eighth. Putnam went 5-for-6 with a homer and three RBIs in Saturday's doubleheader. The Wolverines rapped out 18 hits Sunday in support of sophomore RHP Chris Fetter (6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER).

The Waves were off for the second weekend in the last three thanks to a scheduling conflict.

The Eagles scored five runs over the final two innings against the Clemson bullpen to win the first game of Sunday's doubleheader. Senior 3B Marquez Smith's seventh-inning grand slam gave the Tigers the lead in the second game, and sophomore RHP Matt Vaughn picked up the win with 4.2 shutout innings of relief, allowing just two hits and striking out four.

The Sooners scored twice in the top of the ninth Sunday to take a 7-5 lead, but the Cowboys responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame, capped by senior OF Ty Wright's game-winning RBI single.

Cohen homered again Saturday, and sophomore 1B Cody Decker added two homers and five RBIs in support of sophomore LHP Tim Murphy (7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 9 K). Freshman LHP Gavin Brooks (3.1 IP, 10 H, 7 ER) was hammered Sunday, as the Bruins were out-hit 20-5.

Sophomore DH Hunt Woodruff (2-for-4, 2B, 3 RBI) and senior OF Austin Adams (3-for-5, 2B, RBI) powered a Horned Frogs offense that scored all six of its runs in the first two innings Saturday. Junior RHP Chance Corgan (6.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER) and two relievers held the Utes to three hits Sunday, and junior C Andrew Walker delivered two home runs, including a two-run shot in the 10th to win it.

Junior RHP Will Kline (6 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K) and two relievers held the Volunteers to three hits Friday, but the final one was Andy Simunic's walk-off RBI single, capping UT's two-run ninth inning. The Vols got to sophomore RHP Lance Lynn for six runs in the seventh on Saturday, and Mississippi's comeback attempt fell short when sophomore C Brett Basham struck out with the bases loaded in the ninth. Freshman LHP Nathan Baker (5.1 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 2 K) improved to 6-1 Sunday.

The two teams combined for seven errors in Sunday's finale, but the final one was committed by Pacific freshman SS Josh Powers in the bottom of the ninth, allowing junior C Jeff Dunbar to score the game-winning run.
