Stanford managed just six runs in three games, wasting decent starts from junior RHP Jeffrey Inman (6 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 2 ER) and freshman LHP Brett Mooneyham (5 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 6 K).

Missouri bookended its nine-game swing through the Grand Canyon State with wins, but it lost seven straight games in between. Junior RHP Kyle Gibson (7 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 8 K) pitched well Friday but lost a duel to Arizona State ace Mike Leake. Sophomore RHP Nick Tepesch (6.1 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 8 K) gave Mizzou a badly needed strong start in Sunday's travel-curfew-shortened win, and the Tigers scored five runs over the final two innings to snap their skid.
