Weekend Series: 4-3
The Aggies dropped their second straight series -- both conference road series. Sophomore LHP/OF Brooks Raley (9 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 11 K) improved to 6-1, 2.13 in the first game of Friday's doubleheader; he now leads the Aggies in ERA and batting (.350), among other categories. Junior RHP Alex Wilson (6 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 10 K) reached double digits in strikeouts for the fourth time this season in the nightcap but took the loss against K-State ace A.J. Morris. Freshman LHP Ross Hales (6.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 4 K) replaced sophomore RHP Barret Loux in the rotation Saturday and pitched well in a no-decision.

The Cowboys were swept by Kansas for the first time since 1993. OSU has lost five straight and seven of its past nine. Junior LHP Andrew Oliver (4.1 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 6 K) and junior RHP Tyler Blandford (4.1 IP, 6 H, 8 R, 6 ER, 3 BB, 7 K) each struggled in the first two games, but junior LHP Tyler Lyons (6 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K) was solid in a no-decision Sunday.

Hawaii's pitching allowed 35 runs on 47 hits in three games in a series loss at Nevada. On the bright side, freshman OF Kolten Wong (12-for-18, 7 R, 10 RBI, 3 2B, 2 HR) went bonkers in four games on the week and now leads the team in homers (seven) and slugging (.573).

After sweeping its first two WCC series of the year, San Diego dropped two of three at Gonzaga to fall into a tie with Loyola Marymount atop the conference standings. Three USD errors led to seven unearned runs Thursday, six of them against sophomore RHP Kyle Blair (3.1 IP, 9 H, 7 R, 1 ER). Junior RHP A.J. Griffin (8 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 7 K) dazzled in his fourth start of the year Friday, improving to 6-1, 2.23
