Arkansas was swept at Alabama and has lost five straight games, two straight series and four of its past five series. Junior LHP Dallas Keuchel (7.2 IP, 8 H, 2 ER) was a tough-luck loser Friday, as the Hogs mustered just three hits in support. Freshman OF Collin Kuhn homered twice and drove in three in a losing effort Saturday. Sophomore RHP/OF Brett Eibner (6 IP, 6 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 6 K) took the loss Sunday.

Georgia's regional hosting ambitions took a dagger to the heart this weekend, as the Bulldogs dropped their third straight series (and second in a row at home) against Vanderbilt. Georgia's losing streak reached eight games before it salvaged Sunday's finale. The Bulldogs mustered just four hits Friday against Vandy freshman Sonny Gray (6 IP, 1 ER) and Jack Armstrong (3 IP, 1 ER), and Georgia senior RHP Trevor Holder (6 IP, 9 H, 8 R, 3 HR, 6 ER) was hit hard; he's given up 17 home runs in 70 innings this season. The Bulldogs were limited to five hits Saturday against Commodores lefty Mike Minor (9 IP, 5 H, 2 E, 2 BB, 12 K), and Dawgs junior LHP Alex McRee (6 IP, 8 H, 7 ER) was knocked around. Georgia scored single runs in each of the final three innings Sunday to pull off a comeback victory and stop the bleeding.

Kansas dropped a road series at Missouri to fall to sixth place in the Big 12. Junior LHP Shaeffer Hall (5.2 IP, 10 H, 7 ER) was hit hard in Friday's opener. Junior SS David Narodowski (4-for-5, 3 R, 2 2B, HR) and sophomore OF Casey Lytle (4-for-4, HR) led KU's 13-hit attack Saturday. Kansas made four errors Sunday but rallied for five runs in the ninth to tie the game at 12-12, only to lose on a walk-off homer in the bottom of the frame.

Sophomore 3B Stefen Romero (2-for-5, 2 R, 3 RBI, 3B) led the offense Friday in support of sophomore LHP Tanner Robles (6.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R). Sophomore RHP Greg Peavey (1.2 IP, 7 H, 9 ER) was bombed Saturday, and junior RHP Jorge Reyes (4 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 6 BB, 5 K) struggled with his command in Sunday's loss.
