Report: Lee Reed to be Hoyas' AD
WASHINGTON -- Cleveland State athletic director Lee Reed is headed to Georgetown to run the Hoyas' program.
A Georgetown official with knowledge of the hiring told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Reed will be introduced as the Hoyas' AD at a news conference on Thursday.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the school had not formally announced the move.
Reed has been Cleveland State's AD since 2002. His hiring was first reported by the (Cleveland) Plain Dealer.
Georgetown has been searching for an AD since Bernard Muir left for the University of Delaware last summer. Daniel Porterfield has been serving as interim AD.
